We are located in Bedekovcina, Hrvatsko zagorje. District Bedekovcina includes an area of 51.71 km. Until 1993. year and the new territorial-political structure of the Republic Croatia, district Bedekovcina was structured in the former district Zabok. Then Bedekovcina got separated as an independent unit of local government and today covers 15 villages: Bedekovcina, Belovar Zlatarski, Brestovec Orehovicki, Grabe, Kebel, Krizance, Lug Orehovicki, Lug Poznanovecki, Martinec Orehovicki, Orehovica, Poznanovec, Pustodol Orehovicki, Vojnic-Breg, Zadravec i Zidovinjak. Bedekovcina district is an area with very high population density. With 164.03 inhabitants/km2 Bedekovcina belongs to the most populated parts of Couty Krapinsko-Zagorska which is ranked among the most populated counties of Croatia. The population density in the area of the county is 116.35 inhabitants/km2 while the average population density in Croatia is 77.4 inhabitants/km2.

In the area of Bedekovcina there is well developed craft and small enterprise. Greater number of craftsmen and entrepreneurs are operating in construction and various forms of cooperation for the ceramics industry and the industry of building materials as well as manufacture of footwear. As a matter a fact there is very active "Association of craftsmen and entrepreneurs" that counts more than 200 members. District Councils Bedekovcine, because of its proximity to Zagreb - 50 kilometers - and good traffic connections with the neighboring towns, land available for industrial (business) zone, has significant potential for industrial and economic development. Apart from the industrial and economic development of Bedekovcina thanks to our lakes we have significant potential for development, especially in sports-recreational tourism. In the area of the district there are three post offices as a business unit of HPT, in Bedekovcina, Poznanovec and Brestovac Orehovicki. It also operates business units Zagrebacka Bank and Branch Office "Pharmacies" Zagreb.
